Venture Capital Firm Seeking Full Time Operations Associate and Bookkeeper
Mission and 2nd – SOMA – San Francisco, CA

We are a young venture capital firm and invest in some of the best companies in Silicon Valley, New York, and Israel. Our primary focus is enterprise software in industries from financial services, government, logistics, real estate, and analytics platforms.

We’re looking for a full time Operations Associate who also has experience in bookkeeping. We are a small but hard working team and this position will be an integral part of our operations. Requirements:
-Resume and Cover Letter
-Full time, 40 hours a week
-Bay Area Applications Only! Must have own transportation to SOMA (Mission and 2nd)
-Completed or in process during 2016: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
-Proficient in QuickBooks Pro, Google Docs and Drive, and Microsoft Office (Adobe Suite proficiency – a plus)
-Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
-Thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, team player office environment
-Meticulous and organized; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities

Responsibilities include:

30% Operations:
-Organize and maintain digital and physical files, folders and office records
-Portfolio support and management
-Client and Contact management
-Calendaring

50% Bookkeeping:
-Daily QuickBooks data entry
-Bank and credit card reconciliations
-Prepare monthly books
-All entities’ General Ledger, and Balance Sheet maintenance
-Routinely perform in-depth account analysis
-Assist with budgets and forecasting
-Preparation of any tax work required by the accountant
-Execute payroll, recurring bills and invoices on monthly basis

20% Miscellaneous Job Functions:
-Assist Due Diligence team with potential investment analysis
-Assisting partners with special projects
-Organizing Investor and Board Member meetings and Events
